VIOLET KITTEN (7) First up from a break of 48 weeks and improved to place when 3rd first up last preparation at Sam Houston. Will be trying to topple them late. Looks value and a good place bet. CHANNEL CHECK (4) Hit the line well when 3rd last start at this track and demonstrating upward trajectory in recent races. Geovanni Franco and Robertino Diodoro deserve serious attention as a team. Could sneak a place.
